The 2004 CAP Congress will be held from June 13-16, 2004 at the Delta Hotel in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Congress is being organized by the University of Manitoba and will be held jointly with the Canadian Astronomical Society (CASCA), the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists/Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (COMP/CCPM), and the Biophysical Society of Canada (BSC).

The Congress Program has been finalized and is being printed now. You can download relevant sections of the program using the links listed below. By May 28th the abstracts for each oral session will be available as separate files, and posters will be available by topic.

Changes to Program (since the publication of the booklet)


The poster format is 78 inches wide x 48 inches high (for CASCA posters, the format is 36 inches wide x 48 inches high). Poster boards will be numbered with the identifier printed in the congress program (e.g. POS-1, POS-2, etc.) Posters should be set up as soon as delegates arrive and removed on Wednesday morning (or earlier). Velco will be available.

Poster viewing period in the Winnipeg Convention Centre Exhibition Rooms 2E, 2F and 2G: Sunday June 13 at 8 a.m. through Tuesday June 15 at 5 p.m. Coffee will be served in these rooms.

On Sunday, the poster room closes at 4:00 p.m.; on Tuesday, the poster room closes at 5 p.m. On Monday, June 14th, there is a formal Poster Session, with beverages, from 7-10 p.m. Authors are expected to be available during this poster session to answer questions.
