Executive Summary
The Educational Trust Fund is a registered charity overseen by a Board of Trustees appointed by the CAP Executive. Income from donors and corporate sponsors, supplemented by targeted fund raising campaigns, is allocated in support of key activities in education and outreach undertaken by the CAP. There is a compelling need to increase the annual revenues to the fund. The Trustees forecast a balanced budget for 2010, with revenues and expenditures at the $26k level. In 2010, the ETF supported the CAP Undergraduate Lecture Tour, prizes for High School and University Prize exams and the Canada Wide Science Fair, the Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference, and the CAP’s new awards for Excellence in Teaching High School / Cegep Physics. The Trustees thank the many individual and corporate donors who have made possible this exciting program in 2010, and we look forward to your support in the coming year.
