Renowned science broadcaster and writer Jay Ingram is co-host and producer of Discovery Channel's award-winning Daily Planet, television's first daily science news magazine. He joined Discovery in November 1994 and was instrumental in helping shape the program format. Jay Ingram was a plenary speaker in the “Communicating with the Public” session at the CAP’s 2007 Congress. This article reflects some of the points made during that presentation.
