The several dozen students and colleagues Rutherford influenced at McGill and during his subsequent career at Manchester (1907-1919) and at Cambridge (1919-1937) had an additional enormous impact on the early history of physics in Canada. To celebrate the Rutherford Centenary of the discovery of the nuclear atom (1911), I aggregate here a description of the impact that “Rutherford’s boys” had on Canada’s institutions [4].
