A fast multi-contrast, multi-foci nonlinear optical microscope has been developed for in vivo imaging of biological specimen. Deformable mirrors were used for reshaping of the wavefront to achieve focusing at various axial depths and correct optical aberrations in the microscope. The technique allows video-rate focusing for live imaging deep inside biological tissue.
