Dr. Graeme Luke

luke [at] mcmaster [dot] ca Graeme Luke is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at McMaster University. He started his physics career with a BASc in Engineering Physics from Queen's University 1984; he went on to graduate with a PhD in Physics from UBC in 1988. Dr. Luke then held a postdoctoral position at Columbia University from 1988-91. He joined the faculty at Columbia University from 1991-98 and then moved back to Canada where he has been a faculty member in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at McMaster University since 1998. His research interests are in the area of highly correlated electron systems, with an emphasis on superconductivity and magnetism. Dr. Luke is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) Quantum Materials Program, and a Fellow of American Physical Society. He has been a member of the CAP since 1987.
