Dr. Ragnar Dworschak, Director of Technical Services for Best Theratronics Limited, obtained a B.Sc. from University of Waterloo in 1987 in Experimental Semiconductor Physics, an M.Sc. in Applied Nuclear Physics from Queen’s University in 1990 and a Ph.D. in Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry / Molecular Physics from the University of Manitoba in 2004. He has spent 8 years at Nortel including 5 as a Co-op student, 1 year at an NRC start-up bio-tech firm and the most recent 5 years as a Reactor Physicist at AECL/Chalk River Laboratories and is now with Best Theratronics focusing on External Beam Cobalt Cancer Teletherapy technology. Dr. Dworschak is a licensed P.Phys. and has been a member of CAP since 1987; he served on Council in 2009-2010.
