Bruce Falkenstein, Director, COO and Executive VP Exploration and Production, Revelar Resources Inc. (Houston, Texas), is a dual citizen, educated in Canada, graduating with a B.Sc in Honours Chemical Physics from the University of Calgary in 1980. He is licensed in the State of Texas as a professional geologist and geophysicist, and is a certified geophysicist with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. His career is devoted to the application of western geological and geophysical principles worldwide in the pursuit of the economic discovery of petroleum, as well as the associated development and application of leading edge technology and new application methods. Mr. Falkenstein currently serves as a Director on the board of trustees of the US charitable corporation of the University of Calgary; as a Trustee Associate of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists Foundation; and as a consultant to Guidepoint Global VISTA Research through membership in VISTA’s Society of Industry Leaders. He is an active volunteer within the geoscience community and is deeply committed to supporting education and research. He has been a member of the CAP since 1982 and is a licensed P.Phys.
