DAMOPC
Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Canada
About Us
The membership of the Division of Atomic and Molecular Physics and Photon Interactions (DAMPhi) and the Division of Optics and Photonics (DOP) as well as the CAP Council formally approved a merger of the two divisions, resulting in the Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Canada (DAMOPC). The merger became effective on 1 January 2011. An Interim executive co-chaired by Barry Sanders (UCalgary) and Robert Corriveau (CIPI) was established for the period January 1 to June 17, 2011.
At the 2011 June DAMOPC business meeting, the members elected the Division Executive for the 2011/12 year as noted below.
