This conference is a valuable opportunity for graduate students to present their research to their peers in the form of talks or posters, to network with colleagues from Canada, Mexico and the United States, to participate in professional development seminars, and to meet with invited speakers. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to expand their horizons and to develop their presentation skills.
In an effort to encourage participation in this event, the CAP Educational Trust Fund (ETF) is pleased to provide CAM2011 Presenter Scholarships for up to thirty (30) graduate students pursuing their MSc or PhD at a Canadian university. These scholarships will cover the registration fee (sponsored by CAP-ETF) and, if sufficient sponsorship is secured, will also include a contribution to the student’s travel costs. The student’s supervisor/university is expected to cover the remainder of the travel costs.
