Quantum information processing is a multidisciplinary endeavor, bringing computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering under one umbrella to harness the quantum world. The cover of this issue of Physics in Canada epitomize this approach, with circuits that represent quantum algorithms, abstract mathematical pictures of a quantum bit, schematic diagram of the physics and chemistry of material to implement quantum bits and engineering diagram of superconducting qubits systems. Le traitement de l'information quantique est un effort multi-disciplinaire, qui regroupe la science de l'information, les mathématiques, la physique, la chimie et l'ingénierie sous un theme unifié pour maîtriser le monde quantique.
