CBC Radio 1-"Why Einstein Matters"
Jim Handman, producer of Quirks and Quarks (Q&Q) (CBC Radio 1) - will be hosting a public forum entitled "Why Einstein Matters". The forum will be recorded at York University on March 9th 2005, and broadcast on Quirks and Quarks at a later time during the year.

In addition, Q&Q is planning a special hour edition beginning in January which will include a documentary of the life and work of Einstein, as well as a few interviews with the authors of two new books on Einstein.
CBC Radio 1- Ideas program
Weekdays at 9:05 p.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC Radio One, the Ideas program plan to mark the 100th anniversary of Einstein as follows;
The CBC will broadcast a two hour documentary entitled "Albert Einstein: The Human Side of Genius".It features a cast of characters who knew Einstein personally.
They will also produce a one hour documentary episode on special relativity done by the award winning science journalist Dan Flak. The program is expected to be broadcast early June 2005
CBC Radio 1- Vancouver
CBC Radio 1 Vancouver, plan to run a series on December 28-31, in which they intend to simplify physics and examine the achievements of some BC residents. They will discuss Women in Physics and touch on the 100th anniversary of Einstein's three famous publications.
Included in this series will be an interview with the Brock Medallist/Life Time Achievement Award recipient, as well as a discussion with up and coming, young talent in science.
