Locations
Dr. Will's tour began with the Herzberg Memorial Public Lecture in the Chan Centre of the University of British Columbia on Sunday, June 5, 2005. This talk was the Keynote Address of the 2005 CAP Congress. The talk was preceded by a performance, by the Borealis String Quartet, of a composition especially commissioned by the Canadian Association of Physicists in celebration of the World Year of Physics. The piece was composed by Aaron Hryciw, a PhD physics student at the University of Alberta.
During the Fall of 2005, Dr. Will will complete his national tour. At this time, it is planned that, to supplement the BC talk on June 5, the tour (which will include the string quartet where noted) will reach an additional 20 centres across Canada, as follows: |
