NOTE: This site will be updated on a regular basis as the list of plenary and invited speakers becomes finalized.
The CAP 2021 Virtual Congress will be from June 6-11!
Mark your calendars and plan to participate!
The week will begin with the traditional CAP Herzberg Memorial Lecture on Sunday evening, June 6th. The official Congress week will be launched with the NSERC community update on Monday June 7 from 11h00-11h30 EST. During the remainder of the week, there will be a series of plenary talks, technical sessions/talks, student presentation competition sessions, and several symposia offered by the CAP divisions and its partners.
The general outline of our virtual conference is in the program outline posted here. The detailed online timetable will be posted once the program has been developed by the Program Committee towards the end of March.
Call for Abstracts:
The CAP will be using the Indico system for the submission and processing of Congress abstracts. The call for abstracts will be issued around February 1st, with a submission deadline of February 28th.
Virtual Congress Software:
The 2021 CAP Congress will be hosted using the Underline management program (see https://underline.io for more information). Full instructions on how to access and use the system will be posted closer to Congress, once the developed program is transferred to that system for the running of the online congress.
There will be a minor registration fee to participate in these sessions to cover related staff and system costs. Registration will be opened in the first half of April and will give full access to the entire 2021 Congress starting some time prior to Congress and continuing for a period of time following Congress (exact time to be determined later).
