Renewing/signing up for CAP membership

You must have a valid CAP membership at the time of registering for Congress in order to qualify for CAP Member and Affiliate rates, and to compete in the Best Student Presentation Competition.

Please note it can take up to five business days in total to activate a CAP membership application including processing payments. Therefore new and renewing membership applications must be received by the CAP Office no later than midnight EST Sunday, April 29th in order to be processed in time for you to benefit from early registration rates for members.

Undergraduate student affiliates pay a significantly discounted registration fee.  As it is free for undergraduate students to join the CAP, we do offer a registration rate for non-member undergraduates.  Sign up now if you plan to attend and are not already an affiliate!

The 2018 LOC have proposed three possible tours to be offered during Congress.  During registration, you will be asked to indicate which tour(s) you are interested in if they happen to fall at a time that fits into your schedule.  The organizers will be taking this information to determine how many times a particular tour should be available to try to accommodate the level of interest.  The details about the proposed tours are available here.

Once the tour schedule has been established, anyone who has registered and indicated an interest in a tour will be invited to register for the available tours before the sign-up is posted to the website.
