National Public Lecture Tour

"Was Einstein Right?"

Biography of Dr. Will  :  short version    long version

Registration (optional)

To register your attendance at one of these events, please scroll down and click on the register button that appears under the appropriate city name. PLEASE NOTE that, unless otherwise noted, registering DOES NOT guarantee a seat at the event, but will enable the coordinators to communicate with you to remind you of the upcoming event, to notify you if there are any changes in plans, and to let you know should it appear that the auditorium will be full that evening. Plan to arrive early to ensure you get a seat.

Dr. Will's tour began with the Herzberg Memorial Public Lecture in the Chan Centre of the University of British Columbia on Sunday, June 5, 2005. This talk was the Keynote Address of the 2005 CAP Congress. The talk was preceded by a performance, by the Borealis String Quartet, of a composition especially commissioned by the Canadian Association of Physicists in celebration of the World Year of Physics. The piece was composed by Aaron Hryciw, a PhD physics student at the University of Alberta.

During the Fall of 2005, Dr. Will will complete his national tour. At this time, it is planned that, to supplement the BC talk on June 5, the tour (which will include the string quartet where noted) will reach an additional 20 centres across Canada, as follows:
